NAIROBI Air Max 90 Sale Outlet , July 30 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's national Olympics body unveiled a 5.3 million U.S. dollar budget to send the country's team to the 31st edition of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro next year.

According to National Olympics Committee of Kenya (NOCK), the sum will be needed to cater for 80 individual athletes and two team sports. The country is aiming at sending the men's rugby sevens team or one of the women's football or volleyball sides to Rio.

"I'm sure we are ready to prepare the Kenyan team. The money required to prepare the team starting now to all the federations preparing to qualify. We are looking at between 80 and 100 athletes," Keino told media.

The chairman pointed out the city of Sao Paolo as the most probable place Kenya will pitch camp ahead of the start of the Olympics Games. He added the stated mission was to beat the country's record performance of 6 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals recorded at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

NAIROBI Air Max 2018 Sale Outlet , Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Not so many in the last three years has Olympic 800m champion David Rudisha borne the pain of losing in his speciality at a global championship.

However, lately, the tide has been against the lankly runner, and even his latest loss to Ferguson Rotich at the Kenyan trials for the Beijing world championships instigates worldwide reaction of how low he can sink, or if at all Air Max Sale Outlet , he will redeem his career in the Chinese capital.

Rotich's win, just like has been the five losses Rudisha has suffered under Botswanan Nijel Amos, has prompted a reassessment. Only now has it sunk in what it means to have punctured Rudisha's aura of invincibility. But batteries run out of juice.

"I have to admit that in the final 50 metres, I need to improve. I control the race well and lack that killer sprint to pull away in the final straight," Rudisha said in Nairobi on Monday.

"I hope to work on it and improve ahead of the World Championships. Don't rule me out yet Nike Air Max 90 Shoes Sale , I believe it is still in my reach and we have a strong team as Kenya," Rudisha added.

Ever since the emergence of Rudisha back in 2006 at the Beijing World Junior Championships, there has been several pretenders to his throne.

The first was the flowering of Amos, the second saw the blossoming of Ayanleh Souleiman (Djibouti) and the late blooming of Ethiopia's world champion Mohammed Aman.

But Rudisha, 26 Nike Air Max 2017 Shoes Sale , has refused to let go his title without a fight in Beijing. Throw in Ferguson Rotich of Kenya and Bahamas' Amel Tuka, and several others, and there could be an explosion of colour in the 800m at the Beijing World Championships.

Rudisha conceded he has a of bigger problem rectifying his running tactics in order to have a strong finishing kick at the championships.

However, with only two weeks of training left, time is ticking away for the world record holder (1:40.91) as he puts up his final touches on his preparation.

"We can see a smile even after tough track session. I have to work seriously on my final 50 metres because it is where I lose out. But I'm happy with my progression since returning from injury Nike Air Max 2018 Shoes Sale ," said Rudisha.

"Rudisha is coming on very well and you might be seeing a different athlete in Beijing. It was hard for him but he has accepted he may not be as fast as two seasons ago. He is moved on already and focusing on Beijing task," said Julius Kirwa, Kenyan team head coach.

Hollywood decamped to Cannes Wednesday where Woody Allen's new romantic yarn set in cinema's golden age received mixed reviews from critics as it launched the world's top film festival.

The first red carpet of the festival lit up with some of film's biggest names, as a forecast downpour stayed away long enough for them to saunter up the stairs of the main festival venue.

There were the stars of Allen's Cafe Society - Twilight megastar turned indie darling Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg and a pregnant Blake Lively who exclaimed: "It didn't rain!"

Susan Sarandon - in town for a series of talks on women in the film industry - coolly walked up the carpet in a suit and flat shoes in a pointed dig at Cannes' traditional dress code.

Victoria Beckham Nike Air Max Shoes Sale , Eva Longoria, Jessica Chastain, Justin Timberlake, Julianne Moore and Naomi Watts also set cameras flashing before they sat down to enjoy Allen's third film to open the 12-day festival.

Critics, who saw the film earlier Air Max 90 Shoes Sale , praised the film's beauty and the performances of Stewart and Eisenberg, of The Social Network fame, but complained it lacked depth.

"Watchable as it is, (it) never quite overcomes the sense that it's a lavish diagram working hard to come off as a real movie," wrote Variety critic Owen Gleiberman.

"It's one of those Allen films that keeps talking about passion instead of actually making the audience feel it."

Shot in dreamy technicolor hues Air Max 2017 Shoes Sale , it highlights what another critic called "the selfishness of being happy" as Stewart and Eisenberg voyage through infidelity and heartbreak from 1930s Hollywood to bohemian New York.

The film follows Bobby (Eisenberg) as he heads to Hollywood to score a job with his big-shot agent uncle Phil - played by Steve Carell - and falls in love with his winsome secretary and mistress Vonnie (Stewart).
